The main share of the total output of automotive vehicles was accounted for by passenger cars — 689 units were produced. This is 7.3% more than in August and 83.7% higher than the figure for September last year.
In addition, 73 buses were assembled in September. This volume turned out to be 7.4% higher than in the previous month and 108.6% more than the result of September a year earlier.
During the reporting period, 60 trucks were produced (the main part falls on PJSC "ZAZ"), which is approximately twice the volume of the previous month. In September 2016, only one truck was listed in the reports of "Ukrautoprom". It is worth noting that PJSC "AutoKrAZ" since August last year, for unclear reasons, has stopped publishing data on its production volumes.
In total, over nine months of 2017, 5,696 vehicles were manufactured in Ukraine — 77.3% more than in the same period a year earlier. The distribution by category is as follows:
Passenger cars — 4,814 units (+86.1% compared to the same period last year).
Commercial vehicles — 346 units (−28.5% compared to the same period last year).
Buses — 536 units (+277.5% compared to the same period last year).
