The main share of the total vehicle production was occupied by passenger cars — 405 units were produced, which is 44.1% less than in June, but 51.1% more compared to July last year.
In addition, 58 buses were assembled in July. This figure was 13.4% lower than in the previous month, but 3.2 times higher than the production volume for the same period a year earlier.
In the reporting month, the Ukrautoprom association recorded the production of 48 trucks (excluding the products of PJSC AvtoKrAZ). This is 11.6% more than the June level, but 37.7% less than in July 2016. Recall that PJSC AvtoKrAZ stopped publishing data on its production volumes since August last year.
Based on the results of seven months of 2017, 4,132 vehicles were manufactured in Ukraine, which is 68.1% more than the result for the same period last year. The breakdown by category is as follows:
Passenger cars — 3,483 units (+83% compared to the same period last year).
Commercial vehicles — 254 units (-47.7% compared to the same period last year).
Buses — 395 units (+448.6% compared to the same period last year).
