The main share of the total output of automotive products was accounted for by passenger cars — 725 units were manufactured. This result exceeds May figures by 9.5% and June last year data by 108.9%.
In addition, in June, 67 buses rolled off the assembly lines. This production volume turned out to be 34% higher than in the previous month, and eleven times higher than in June a year earlier.
In the reporting period, 43 trucks were recorded in production statistics. This is 4.3 times more than in May of the current year, but is 42.7% lower than the June 2016 figure. It is also worth noting that PJSC "AutoKrAZ" has not published data on its production volumes since August last year for unknown reasons.
Overall, in the first half of 2017, Ukraine produced 3,621 vehicles, which is 72.8% more than the result of the same period last year. The distribution by category is as follows:
Passenger cars — 3,078 units (+88.3% compared to last year's figure).
Commercial vehicles — 206 units (−49.3% compared to the same period last year).
Buses — 337 units (+524.1% compared to the same period last year).
