In the total volume of automotive production, the key share was taken by passenger cars — 570 units, all of which came off the assembly line of PJSC "Eurocar". This is 1.4% more than in March and 203.2% higher than the figure for April last year.
In addition, 51 buses were manufactured during the reporting period. Here, the production volume fell by 37% compared to the previous month, but compared to April last year, the growth amounted to 50 units.
In the statistics of "Ukravtoprom" for this month, trucks were not listed. It is worth noting that PJSC "AutoKrAZ" has not been providing data on its production output since August of last year for unknown reasons.
Overall, in January–April 2017, 2,064 vehicles were assembled in Ukraine — this is 91.8% more than in the same period a year earlier. The breakdown is as follows:
Passenger cars — 1,691 units (plus 107.5% compared to the same period last year).
Commercial vehicles — 153 units (minus 38.8% compared to last year's level).
Buses — 220 units (an increase of 1900% compared to the same period).
