Sales of new cars in Ukraine grew by 51%

It is worth noting that the start of 2016 was also positive — then in January, sales of new passenger cars increased by 23 percent.

Last month, Toyota became the leader in registrations — 495 cars, which is 63% higher than the figure for the same period last year.

The second place was taken by French Renault with a result of 485 cars, which is 86% more than in January 2016.

The top three was closed by Volkswagen — 443 cars of this German brand received their first license plates, which is almost twice the January figure of last year.

The fourth place belongs to Ford, which ended the month with 356 cars. Thus, Ford sales in January grew 2.1 times.

The top five is closed by KIA. Over the year, demand for cars of this brand rose 3.4 times and amounted to 307 sold cars.

The top ten in January also included: Nissan — 287 cars (+2%); Skoda — 283 cars (+130%); Hyundai — 271 cars (+69%); Mazda — 174 cars (-3%); the rating is closed by ZAZ — 160 Ukrainians chose cars of the domestic brand (+60%).

The most popular car of the first month of 2017 was the KIA Sportage — 214 buyers chose this model in January.
