In the future, similar playgrounds are planned to be placed at other gas stations. After all, sports and entertainment complexes are an element not only of comfort, but also of safety on the road. The latter aspect is especially relevant for the OKKO network, which actively advocates for responsible behavior of drivers and pedestrians on highways within the framework of the social project "I beg you, live! Road safety".
"A long road is tiring for motorists. Physical fatigue from being in one position is compounded by dulled attention, which can even cause an accident," says Nazar Turkhan, head of the network development department at OKKO. "Doctors advise drivers to take short breaks approximately every 2 hours behind the wheel. And OKKO will take care that these stops are useful. Someone will go to the gas station to perk up with coffee, someone will have lunch at the restaurant, and someone will spend 5-10 minutes doing physical exercises."
Also, the new equipment will be an additional convenience for parents traveling with children. Currently, the OKKO network has already equipped several children's playgrounds, many gas stations have changing tables for infants, and the restaurant menus include dishes for children. Beautiful modern swings will add to the list of amenities for little visitors.
The idea to install horizontal bars and sports equipment at gas stations was suggested by the customers themselves, who contacted via the hotline and Facebook with such proposals. Therefore, first of all, it appeared at those gas stations that OKKO visitors paid attention to. The network is waiting for suggestions regarding the need for such equipment at other gas stations. The opinion of guests is always important for the company. At the same time, the installed sports complexes will help maintain good physical shape for gas station employees.
