In the first quarter of 2016, from January to March, 475 cars were stolen in Kyiv. Only 20% of them were found and returned to their legal owners.
According to statistics, the most stolen cars in Kyiv are Daewoo – 80 thefts in three months. In second place are VAZ cars – 42 stolen cars. Toyotas are also equally "popular".
Let us remind you that, as statistics show, most thefts still occur at night. The most common places for thefts are the territory near houses and parking lots near shopping centers. Recently, another location has become popular among car fraudsters – gas stations.
