The electric bus was developed by the "Electron" concern. Traditionally, the keys to the new vehicle were handed over to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
According to the mayor, the new bus E19101 is unique in that it allows municipal enterprises to significantly save on fuel. As Sadovyi claims, citing the developers, one shift on such an electric bus costs only 250 hryvnias. At the same time, a bus with a traditional powertrain consumes fuel worth 2500 hryvnias per shift.
Among other advantages, of course, is its harmlessness to the environment. The new vehicle is planned to be tested in real conditions. By the end of the year, the electric bus will appear on local routes. The cost of such a bus is 9 million hryvnias.
