These license plates have white letters and numbers on a dark background.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to register a vehicle and obtain "military" license plates, you need to present the car for inspection to a State Automobile Inspection unit. After it is identified and found not to have a "criminal" past, the car will be issued registration documents and plates. They can be issued to legal entities: battalions and volunteer organizations.

Now, cars received from volunteers will be registered and processed directly by military units.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs states that the procedure for issuing special plates will be as simplified as possible.

It remains to be understood what relation the State Automobile Inspection has to military transport? After all, the Ministry of Defense has its own service, the "Military Automobile Inspection," which registers all army vehicles.
