On his Facebook page, police officer Mykhailo Kindrakevych wrote that in Kyiv there are lovers of easy money who remove license plates from cars at night and leave notes.
According to the police officer, for the return of the plates, the fraudsters demand a "ransom" of 500 hryvnias.
What to do if your license plates are stolen? In such cases, you should immediately contact law enforcement agencies. You must report the theft of the plates to the police, because these license plates could be used to commit a criminal offense, and that is a completely different story.
