According to the message on the website of the US State Department, four police officers will be sent to Kyiv, who will train their Ukrainian colleagues for a month. After completing the training course, Ukrainian law enforcement officers, in turn, will begin training cadets of the new patrol and post service being created in Ukraine.
During their stay in Ukraine, the Americans will teach local police officers to stop cars, defend against attacks, and put on handcuffs.
Also on the State Department website it is stated that the new patrol and post service should replace the previous similar one, but which does not have trust. The emergence of the new structure is called another step in the fight against corruption, according to the State Department.
