This time, the Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine recommended that insurance companies providing third-party motor liability policies set new tariffs for the cost of mandatory insurance.

This decision was made due to a significant increase in the cost of repairing vehicles damaged as a result of insured events, linked to the depreciation of the hryvnia. It is expected that setting new tariffs will lead to an increase in insurance payments by 25-30%.
At the same time, the Bureau notes that mandatory liability insurance for Ukrainian car owners will remain the cheapest in Europe. Even with the price increase, the payment will amount to about 450 UAH per year. Europeans, on the other hand, pay an average of 134 euros for such a policy.
