Over the past weekend, the situation on the fuel market leveled off. Thus, A-95 gasoline is now sold at about 27 hryvnias, and 95 premium class — about 28 hryvnias, the exact figure depends on the region and the specific network of gas stations.

At the same time, fuel market analysts advise drivers not to rush to fill tanks to full volume in anticipation of a new price increase. The head of the consulting group «A-95» Sergey Kuyun and Dmitry Marunich, who is the co-chairman of the Foundation for Energy Strategies, are unanimous in their opinion that fuel prices will decline.
Experts draw attention to the fact that oil traders instantly raise prices when the hryvnia weakens, but react extremely slowly to its strengthening. Therefore, the rise in prices occurs rapidly, and the fall — with great difficulty. If the dollar exchange rate stays at around 28 hryvnias in the near future, a liter of gasoline may drop to 25 hryvnias. Although in this situation the word «cheaper» is hardly appropriate…
