Due to the difficult situation in the country, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has ordered all law enforcement agencies to switch to an enhanced mode of service. This also applies to units of the State Automobile Inspectorate.
Law enforcement officers addressed the public with the following appeal:
«Citizens, be cautious and attentive! If you notice suspicious people, groups of individuals, or unattended items in crowded places or in transport, immediately report this to the police by calling «102» or to the duty unit of the State Automobile Inspectorate».
The State Automobile Inspectorate asks all road users to understand the increased mode of operation, remain calm, not create tension for service personnel, and not interfere with them during inspections and vehicle checks. These steps are taken primarily to prevent terrorist acts and sabotage, as well as to stop the illegal transportation of weapons and explosives on the territory of the state.
