In response to the minister's words, Ukrainian car manufacturers promptly composed an open letter with their indignation:
«We regret that you consider the production of passenger cars at PJSC "ZAZ", the "Bogdan" Corporation, or the production of various modifications of trucks and armored vehicles at the facilities of PJSC "AutoKrAZ", as well as the production of buses in Lutsk, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv to be "screwdriver assembly"», Ukrainian car manufacturers report.
The statement notes that nine enterprises are ready to receive Abromavicius: PJSC "ZAZ", CJSC "Eurocar", the "Bogdan" Corporation, PJSC "AutoKrAZ", OJSC "Cherkasy Bus", CJSC "Chernihiv Automobile Plant", CJSC "Boryspil Automobile Plant", OJSC "KrKZ", and the Production and Commercial Association Concern "Electromash". The industrialists also drew the minister's attention to the lack of a credit policy to support production, exports, and innovations, and noted the high cost of credit resources in Ukraine, calling the taxation system inconsistent with EU policy.
