On December 16, a number of gas stations began revising fuel prices. At the same time, some companies raised the price of gasoline by one hryvnia at once. Traders associate this decision with the dollar exchange rate and its acute shortage.
As reported by the "Consulting Group A-95", just the day before, suppliers were buying currency at 18.10 UAH per dollar, this morning — already at 19.00 UAH, and by noon the rate reached 20.00 UAH per dollar.
It should be noted that by the evening of today or the morning of tomorrow, an increase in fuel prices is expected at all gas stations. At the moment, the situation looks as follows:
