Earlier, AvtoPortal reported how the Ministry of Internal Affairs distributed hybrid Toyota Prius cars among the regions. Now it has become known that law enforcement officers will receive another batch of such vehicles. The corresponding statement was made by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Andriy Mokhnik.

It is worth recalling that under the Kyoto Protocol, Ukraine sells its unused quotas for carbon dioxide emissions from industrial enterprises to other countries. The funds received are directed to finance social and environmental initiatives. In particular, the Japanese side was sold the rights to greenhouse gas emissions in the amount of 30 million assigned amount units (AAU).
