As reported by user Yuri Falyosa on his Facebook page, in the afternoon near Victory Square a group of unknown individuals stopped a Lexus whose driver ignored a prohibiting traffic light signal. According to the post's author, the "people's avengers" smashed the windshield and punctured the car's tires. It is also claimed that they "taught a lesson" to the security guards who were likely following this Lexus.
According to unconfirmed information, these activists travel in two cars, four people in each, and have an athletic appearance. Apparently, they do not show aggression towards those who do not violate the rules. One can only wonder whether this is really true, and whether it means that for traffic violations in Kyiv one can now receive not only an official fine.
In any case, the most reliable way to avoid problems is simply to follow traffic rules. Then neither traffic police officers nor such "activists" are scary.
P.S. It is curious how these "Robin Hoods" will behave if they encounter a government motorcade or a car with "privileged" license plates of the "AA...VR" series?
