Traffic police wants to attach GPS beacons to problematic cars

The discussion concerns cars whose owners have been noticed delaying repairs, which is why the vehicles ended up in impound lots. Drivers of faulty cars who have received an electronic bracelet will go to a service station, and then will come to the traffic police, where the device will be removed.

This approach is designed to encourage drivers themselves to fix their cars faster and, accordingly, free them from control.

As automotive expert Vladimir Karavaev noted, such electronic tags will simplify the process of repairing cars in impound lots. According to "Economic News," the electronic bracelet will also be useful in resolving controversial situations related to cars.
