It seems that cars used by high-ranking officials will temporarily remain without new tires. The "Autobase of the State Management of Affairs" announced on the public procurement website the need to purchase 40 fresh tires for armored vehicles. However, the tender failed — not even two bids from participants were submitted. According to current legislation, if the purchase is financed from the state treasury, a competition with at least two proposals is mandatory.
Earlier, as Autoportal already reported, the same organization on November 16 concluded an agreement with LLC "Company Ukrprompostach" for the supply of rubber for protected cars in the amount of 566 thousand hryvnias, as stated in the "Bulletin of Public Procurement." Then they managed to purchase 20 tires of the model 245/700R-470, intended for Mercedes-Benz S 600 Guard. Each such tire cost the budget 28 thousand hryvnias.
Here the question arises: how many armored vehicles are on the balance sheet of the "Autobase of the State Management of Affairs" if the need for new tires for special vehicles arises so regularly?
