As AutoPortal managed to find out, this is the very car that belonged to the now deceased Minister of Transport Georgiy Kirpa. It was bought by the ex-minister in 2004. After Kirpa's death, the Maybach repeatedly appeared at various auctions, but for unknown reasons no one bought it. Moreover, none of Georgiy Kirpa's successors wanted to ride in this car. As a result, it spent almost all the time gathering dust in the ministerial garage.

Nevertheless, over the past years, the infamous Maybach has appeared in the media several times. Sometimes it was rented out, sometimes unknown businessmen were seen in it. But eventually it returned to the state garage, from where it essentially never officially left. Now the Maybach Kirpa's place of work is the Boryspil airport.

Let us remind you that 58-year-old Georgiy Kirpa headed Ukrzaliznytsia and the Ministry of Transport since May 2002. In December 2004, his body was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the summer house of his own dacha in Bortnychi near Kyiv.
