To be honest, this coupe wouldn't mind changing the tuning studio's logo, adding a pair of wings to the horse silhouette. The production CL 65 AMG with its 612 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque can already boast impressive figures, but the specialists at MKB managed to make them even more outstanding. By replacing the stock turbochargers with more powerful ones, reflashing the control unit, and installing a sport air filter, they brought the output of the six-liter V12 to a frightening 751 horsepower and 1250 newton-meters.
The "winged steed" with a reinforced five-speed automatic gearbox accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, and its top speed reaches 350 km/h. For comparison, the standard version took 0.3 seconds longer to accelerate, and its speed was artificially limited to 250 km/h.
On the branded Alpha III wheels, tires sized 255/35 R20 are installed at the front and 295/30 R20 at the rear. Such a set will cost 9,690 euros ($13,600).
As they say, you have to pay for everything in life. However, in the case of MKB, the price is not that high. For example, a full package of upgrades for the CL 65 AMG, which includes engine work, 20-inch wheels, and a modernized ABC suspension control module, costs just over 51,000 euros ($71,500) in Germany. True, first you will still have to fork out for the car itself, buying a Mercedes CL 65 AMG for 224,000 euros ($314,000).
