Although the Mercedes-AMG Project One is presented as a concept, the model is clearly ready for production. Under the striking body of the hybrid hypercar lies a real Formula-1 car, the Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid, and the platform itself is a carbon-fiber monocoque.

Formula notes are also evident in the interior, for example, in the characteristic shape of the steering wheel with an abundance of buttons.

The hybrid powertrain consists of a turbocharged V6 1.6 engine, assisted by as many as four electric motors. The developers do not yet disclose the exact power of the hypercar, assuring that the number of "horses" will definitely be four-digit.

The Project One will accelerate to 200 km/h in less than six seconds, half a second faster than the Bugatti Chiron. But the top speed is "only" 350 km/h, compared to 420 km/h for the Bugatti.

A total of 275 units of the Mercedes-AMG Project One will be produced. Despite the price of 2,275,000 euros, all hypercars have already been sold out via pre-orders.
