As before, the changes to the exterior were minimal — primarily the front and rear bumpers, headlights, and radiator grille were updated. On the Korean market, a new modification of the Picanto will appear, distinguished by a special bumper and a chrome grille styled after the Soul crossover. The interior also saw updates, in particular, the steering wheel and instrument panel were changed.
The new Kia Picanto 2010 model year will be offered with two powertrains: an economical 1.0-liter LPI four-cylinder engine producing 67 hp, and a refined gasoline engine of the same displacement with 72 hp, which gained 8 hp compared to the previous generation.
