Despite the fact that the "Zhuzyk" was converted in a makeshift manner, it is clear that the work was done qualitatively and thoroughly – overall, the ZAZ SUV is solidly built. It is known that the owner installed a 2.5-liter engine and a gearbox from GAZ-3102 Volga (2.5 ZMZ-405, manual transmission) on the ZAZ, and the axles and suspensions were borrowed from UAZ. In addition, the car was fitted with "toothy" 33-inch tires 33 Forward Safari 500.
Thanks to such modifications, the light Zaporozhets became much more powerful and torquier, and also acquired a huge ground clearance.
