Toyota lost its rear row of seats and traditional trunk – the entire rear compartment is dedicated to cargo transport. Moreover, it wasn't without the 'removal' of two doors: now this 'Cruiser' is not a 5-door but a 3-door. Instead of the rear side windows, there are now blanking plates.

In addition, the car received a suspension raised by 5 cm, huge mud-terrain wheels with 35-inch tires, widened wheel arches, and heavy-duty bumpers. The body of the '80' was painted matte black.

Finally, the car also got a new 'heart' - instead of the standard Toyota engine, under the hood now resides a 6.2-liter gasoline GM LS V8 from full-size Chevrolets, which is popularly known as the Chevy big-block. Such units are often installed on tuned cars overseas. For context, originally the LC 80 was fitted with gasoline and diesel 'sixes'.
It is worth noting that the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 is considered one of the most iconic off-roaders in the LC series. Such a car was produced from 1990 to 1998.
