At the initial stage, the company decided to limit itself to cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior, and promised to think about increasing power later.
The project to modernize the Porsche Taycan became HPE's first experience working with an electric vehicle. "We had long been planning to start doing something with electric cars," says company founder and head John Hennessey, "and the Porsche Taycan is the ideal platform for our first project in this area."
So far, the modifications are extremely simple: new wheels, tires, interior decor, and more aggressive bumpers. Power tuning has been postponed for later, as its feasibility needs to be assessed.
