The fresh Camaro modification, designated Yenko/SC, has become noticeably more powerful. To achieve such an increase, engineers had to enlarge the standard V8's displacement from 6.2 to 6.8 liters, as well as replace the cylinder heads, supercharger, crankshaft, and piston assembly.
Thanks to these modifications, the engine's output jumped from 461 to 811 hp, and peak torque now stands at an impressive 1017 Nm.
Additionally, the Yenko/SC has acquired a different braking system, new wheels, and a unique body paint finish.
The price of such an upgrade exceeded the cost of the base Camaro SS: 40 thousand dollars for the tuning versus 38 thousand for the car itself. Thus, the final price tag of the "hot" version approaches 80 thousand dollars.
