The name Shaker hints at the playful name for hood scoops, which were very popular in the 60s and 70s. The Durango concept also got a similar "shaker," as well as a 485-horsepower 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine and a sport exhaust system with dual tips in the center of the rear bumper.

In addition to the bright color, the Shaker sports 22-inch wheels, lowered suspension, and brakes from the Challenger SRT. Inside, instead of standard seats, all three rows feature seats from the Viper sports car.
