Today, photos of a prototype of the upcoming model appeared online. The Insignia in the Bitter tuning house version has a completely redesigned front end — with new fenders, a different hood, and a fresh bumper, while the headlights with adaptive lighting system remain unchanged. The rear has also changed: a new bumper, a spoiler on the trunk lid, and a different exhaust system.
At the same time, there is not a single Opel badge left on the car — all emblems, including the logo on the steering wheel, have given way to the Bitter brand mark. The interior of the Insignia by Bitter is done in a two-tone color scheme and is almost entirely upholstered in expensive leather.
No details about the technical specifications have been announced yet. It is logical to assume that under the hood there will be a 2.8-liter V6 engine combined with all-wheel drive, although it is possible that the exclusive sedan is based on the 325-horsepower Insignia OPC version. All details will be revealed after the official Bitter presentation, scheduled for the autumn Paris Motor Show.
Let us add that in 2008, Bitter already showcased the Vero luxury sedan concept, built on the basis of the Australian Holden Commodore with a V8 engine. At that time, a price exceeding $170,000 was announced.
