We are talking about a power unit that produces 155 horsepower, consisting of a 1.8-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Moreover, it is the electric motor that is responsible for rotating the rear wheels. That is, there will be no rigid connection between the axles — only electronics and traction, as in Toyota or Jeep models.
However, the list of innovations is not limited to this:
? The Duster will receive adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go mode, which works even after a complete stop of the car (say, before a traffic light).
? For this model, paddle shifters will appear for the first time, allowing manual gear selection. These options will be available in the version with the EDC robotic gearbox.
The start of sales of the updated Duster on the European market is planned for 2026. It is worth noting that the current new Duster has a rather unusual set of trim levels. For example, the diesel version is offered only with a manual transmission and all-wheel drive. And the hybrid — also with all-wheel drive, but only with a "manual".
