The joint venture between Honda and Guangzhou Automobile Group has launched a new production facility in Guangzhou, where production of the electric crossover Ye P7 has already started.

The enterprise has installed automated transport systems and welding equipment based on artificial intelligence. This allows to increase production efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Honda is not the only automaker focusing on automation. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Dongfeng are also actively implementing robotic lines, while BYD, BAIC, and SF Express are already testing humanoid robots for simple operations. In parallel, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are testing similar developments at their own plants.
