Company head Elon Musk stated that the FSD module can be considered the best computer chip in the world. Already in March, Tesla began mass production of Model S and Model X electric vehicles, which received a new autonomous driving system.
Since mid-April, the same module has been installed on the most affordable model — Tesla Model 3.
The published video shows how the Model 3 electric car independently brakes before traffic lights, changes lanes, performs overtaking, exits the highway at an interchange, and then returns to it.
Additional features have also appeared. For example, the central display now shows a dynamic image of the approaching intersection, which is not provided in the current version of Autopilot.
