At the Horiba MIRA test site, located in the English town of Nuneaton, the capabilities of the first car for this brand equipped with a full-fledged autopilot system were demonstrated.

This SUV received an autopilot corresponding to the fourth level of autonomy. Such a system implies the presence of a driver in the cabin, but it is capable of independently driving the car both on highways and in urban environments. As for fifth-level systems, they can function without a person behind the wheel at all.

Until next summer, testing of these autonomous SUVs will be carried out only in closed areas, and after that, driverless cars may be allowed on public roads.
