According to the plans of the representatives of the French concern, by 2021 electric cars in three body styles — hatchback, crossover and sedan — capable of traveling 450 kilometers without recharging will hit the market. For these vehicles, engineers will create a separate e-CMP platform.

It is expected that recharging such cars from a regular home outlet will take eight hours, and the use of a special terminal will reduce this process to forty minutes. In addition, the company plans to offer induction charging as an option. The power of the powertrains in electric and hybrid versions may vary: up to 250 hp in front-wheel-drive versions and up to 300 hp in all-wheel-drive versions.

Hybrid modifications, in turn, will be able to travel exclusively on electric power for a distance of up to 60 kilometers. Over the next five years, the manufacturer intends to introduce four fully electric models and seven hybrid ones.
