The administration of a prestigious California city has decided to form a fleet of vehicles with self-driving capability.
These cars are planned to be used as public transport. The local mayor noted that Beverly Hills is perfectly suited for the introduction of autonomous technologies. In his words, operating such vehicles on regular roads no longer poses a threat and is quite acceptable.
Currently, the city is actively designing infrastructure to ensure data exchange between driverless cars. This project could be implemented by Google or Tesla.
