From now on, the South Korean brand has full right to test vehicles with autonomous driving systems on public roads.
The first cars of the South Korean brand will receive semi-autonomous control functions by 2020. The vehicles will be able to move without driver participation at high speed on highways and in dense city traffic. In addition, they will get an automatic emergency braking function, as well as a self-parking system.

Kia expects to bring the first fully driverless car to market by 2030. It is worth noting that already at the end of this year, sales of the flagship sedan Genesis G90, which is equipped with an autonomous driving system on highways, will start in Korea.
