The project's authors claim they know how to make an ultra-fast and capable off-road SUV on electric power. According to them, the car will be able to cover up to 1200 km without recharging and accelerate to a top speed of 250 km/h. A range of more than a thousand kilometers should be provided by an internal combustion engine used to recharge the batteries while driving. On electric power alone, the claimed range is 200 km.
If the startup receives funding, the developers plan to create several electric vehicles. It is worth noting that the direct author of the electric SUV is Australian engineer Paul van de Lou, who owns his own engineering company. For more than 20 years, it has been working on systems and devices for defense, as well as in the automotive industry and mining.

Red Automotive Technologies intends to build cars on a modular platform. Among the features of the electric SUV, the developers mention not only the range and dynamics, but also the ground clearance of an off-road buggy at 375 mm. The starting price of the SUV is about $85 thousand.
