But in reality, an electric car called EL Lada is currently coming off the assembly line. It is equipped with a synchronous electric motor powered by a Li-ion battery. This vehicle is a previous-generation Lada Kalina body re-equipped with a new powertrain. According to the manufacturer, the car can travel up to 150 km in the city. It may take up to 8-10 hours to fully charge the batteries.

At the end of last summer, the Russian car participated in a rally for electric cars, where it performed quite decently, on par, as the Russians say, with the American car Tesla S.
