The German automaker revealed technical details of the three-door model back in November last year, and now has shared information about the seat configuration.

The frame of the sports seats intended for the Opel Astra OPC has been filled with a composite material based on polyamides and fiberglass. As representatives of the German brand state, this material is characterized by high flexibility and strength, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities. A layer just one to two millimeters thick is sufficient for adequate effectiveness.

In this "hot" hatchback, the seats will be positioned 17 millimeters lower compared to the three-door Astra GTC and 40 millimeters lower than in the five-door version. The seats will have adjustment in 18 directions: lumbar support, seat depth, knee cushion tilt angle, and degree of lateral support are all adjustable. The options list will include various fabric and leather upholstery variants, as well as different interior color schemes.

Additionally, the Astra OPC seats have been awarded the German orthopedic certificate AGR.

It was previously announced that the model will feature a two-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 280 horsepower, a six-speed manual gearbox, a mechanical limited-slip differential on the front axle, Brembo braking system, and separate steering knuckles in the front suspension.
