Those who want to take a ride on the "North Loop" need to register online in advance and get a ticket or QR code. While driving on the track, it is strictly forbidden to get out of the car.
"The safety of participants is our top priority. That is why we have resumed the operation of the racetrack, strengthening precautionary measures in the context of the pandemic," said Nürburgring Managing Director Mirko Markfort.
A maximum of two people can be in the car on the track. In addition, the issue of parking remains unresolved: all parking lots near the ring are still closed.
In a special video, the track administration shows many fans of "contactless races" on a wide variety of vehicles.
