Cadillac DPi-V.R sports prototype will compete for victory in the famous racing marathon "24 Hours of Daytona", in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship class.
The car is built on the chassis of the well-known sports company Dallara and is equipped with a 600-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine. The engine will be paired with a sequential XTRAC gearbox. The weight of the rear-wheel-drive sports prototype is 930 kg.
Cadillac returns to endurance racing after 14 years since its last appearance. The racing debut of the DPi-V.R sports prototype will take place at the January "Daytona".
