The auction will take place today, June 10, at 9:30 AM local time in Charlotte, as stated on the official auction website. The USF1 team received the right to participate in the World Championship in June 2009, after which it began preparations for its debut in the 2010 season. However, the project was never completed: the car could not be built in time. As a result, the team was excluded from the championship just a week before the start of the season.

The auction features 427 lots — an impressive list that indicates significant investment in the Charlotte facility. All team property is for sale: from office chairs and a vacuum cleaner to computer equipment, modern machine tools, and even a small Mitsubishi Fuso truck.

At the same time, as noted in his blog by renowned commentator Adam Cooper, there are practically no items directly related to a Formula 1 race car. The work done is only reminded by a model of the car, a chassis mold, and one wheel.

Among the most unusual lots up for sale are paintings with portraits of American drivers Dan Gurney and Mario Andretti, as well as a bottle of Gossnet champagne.
