Its development was carried out jointly with the brand's sports division. It is unlikely that this car will ever see a production line, but it has attracted significant attention. The car received a powerful hybrid powertrain and became significantly more aggressive in appearance compared to the base hatchback.

The hybrid powertrain consists of a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 270 hp, working in conjunction with two 115-hp electric motors (one on the rear axle, and the other in the gearbox). The combined output of all motors is 500 hp (730 N•m).

The interior of the hatchback has also undergone changes. Sports seats similar to the front ones are installed in the rear. Therefore, the car is strictly four-seater.



According to the creators, the Peugeot 308 R Hybrid can accelerate to 100 km/h in four seconds, and the top speed is 250 km/h. Interestingly, the driver can independently choose the power of the powertrain. Hot Lap - maximum power of 500 hp and torque of 730 N•m. Track - 400 hp and 530 N•m. There is also Road (300 hp and 400 N•m) - for public roads.
