As German media write, Hennig's car was produced in 2003, under its hood is a 1.7-liter diesel with 80 hp. Bart purchased the station wagon with 100,000 km on the odometer for 5,000 euros, now the Opel Astra G shows 602,998 km. For many years, the car covered about 100 kilometers daily.

Bert stated that the secret of his Astra lies in maintenance. "I admit that I took good care of the Astra, but it's still hard to believe that the engine, gearbox, turbocharger, and high-pressure pump never failed. Even the clutch is still original," said the (now former) owner.

Now Hennig has already bought himself a new Astra – the J generation (with a 165-hp diesel).

By the way, Opel Astra G is quite popular on the Ukrainian secondary market, primarily due to the price-quality ratio: in good condition, German sedans and station wagons are sold for 4-5 thousand dollars.
