"The four-door fastback Q80 Inspiration was created to blow up the premium sedan segment," said Infiniti's vice president of product strategy, Francois Bancon. True, doubts arise as to whether such bold lines will be repeated in the production car? Most likely, some things will be simplified and smoothed out. But time will tell.
The premium nature of the car is indicated not only by its appearance. The wheelbase, worthy of limousines (33 mm longer than the Porsche Panamera), is 3103 mm. True, due to shorter overhangs, the length turned out to be less than that of the German competitor - 5060 versus 5165 mm. The width of the car is 2010 mm with a height of 1340 mm. The Stuttgart offspring has 1931 mm and 1425 mm, respectively.

Hybrid technologies have already become an integral part of almost all new developments. The Q80 is equipped with a turbocharged V6 3.0 engine, complemented by an electric motor. The total power of the hybrid unit is 550 hp. At the same time, average fuel consumption is within 5.5 l/100 km. Engineers noted that under normal, unhurried driving conditions, the car remains rear-wheel drive. But under load, acceleration, or other necessity, the front wheels are instantly engaged.

The interior of the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration is original. It is designed for four passengers, each of whom sits in their own seat. The creators call the interior styling minimalism. This is surprising, since, judging by the finishing materials, there is no hint of minimalism here. Except perhaps when you first look at the instrument panel. The impression is deceptive, as the modest instrument panel is more than compensated by head-up displays on the windshield. Moreover, not only for the driver, but also for the front passenger. For rear passengers, touch panels are provided in the backs of the front seats. If passengers do not like looking at the screens, they can enjoy the surroundings through the side windows and the giant panoramic roof.

All we have to do is wait and see in what form this splendor called the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration will go into production. If it does...
