Automatic transmissions have won thanks to their simplicity and progress. Nowadays, they don't "burn" fuel as old taxi driver tales used to tell, but instead contribute to savings. Moreover, in traffic jams, you don't have to keep your foot on the clutch, and that's a significant plus.

Ukraine is following the same route: more and more drivers are looking at automatic transmissions because they are more convenient within the city, and the supply on the secondary market is constantly growing. However, we haven't forgotten about the manual transmission — when you need an inexpensive and reliable vehicle without excessive demands, three pedals still remain beyond competition.

Nevertheless, despite this, the "stick shift" is increasingly becoming a matter for enthusiasts. It's similar to listening to music from cassettes: not very convenient, but with soul. So it's quite likely that in ten years, manual gear shifting will be as much a curiosity as turning the knob on an old TV.
