As reported by the regional committee for economy and investments, part of the premises of the former enterprise is used by a woodworking company that is already operating. The investor is currently at the stage of launching production facilities.
Previously, Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo were assembled at this site, but later the enterprise ceased operations. In December 2021, the plant's property was transferred to the Korean company LLC "SV Rus", which is a subsidiary of Sungwoo Hitech Rus. The new production was supposed to manufacture reinforcement elements for bumpers and side doors. Among the main clients were Hyundai, Kia, Renault Samsung Motors, and GM Korea Company.
