With the departure of the French specialist plant, it is unlikely to localize the production of "Dusters" in Tolyatti - as was previously stated.
And the entire model range development plan will have to be redrawn. Especially since one of the new products – the "new Granta", is actually already ready and was supposed to go on the assembly line in 2023.
The project of the "new Niva", built on the basis of the next-generation Dacia Duster, will also most likely be closed. As, indeed, will other Russian plans for the production of new car models at all plants. The reason is the lack of components and sanctions.
