We don't put umbrellas away — with such dense cloudiness as now, a brief rain may start unexpectedly. Fog is possible in western Ukraine.
In the highlands of the Carpathians, as usual, it is noticeably cooler: at night the thermometer drops to -2, during the day no higher than +7. The threat of avalanches remains.
It is still far from truly warm weather when you can walk in T-shirts and shorts. The cyclone is in no hurry to leave the territory of Ukraine, so the rains will drag on. For people suffering from allergies, precipitation during flowering is a real relief: it reduces the amount of pollen in the air. The willow has already blossomed. As a rule, those who react to birch pollen experience a similar reaction to willow flowering. Allergy symptoms to willow are typical of hay fever: nasal congestion, sneezing, redness and itching of the eyes, itching in the nose, sometimes rashes on the forehead and chin. Only an allergist can solve the problem.
In the south of Ukraine, on April 17, mostly sunny weather is expected, on April 18-19 — cloudy with clearings, and on Monday short-term precipitation is possible. Temperature on the weekend and at the beginning of the week: at night +5…+8, during the day +15…+17. The water in the sea near Odessa has warmed up to +7, the sea is calm, dead calm.
In the west of the country, according to Sinoptik.ua, on Saturday, April 17, at night it is expected +2…+4, during the day +6…+10, cloudy, with rain in places. On April 18-19 it will become a little warmer — up to +12 during the day, the sun will peek out more often. However, on the weekend and throughout the next week, precipitation will persist, and the temperature will not exceed +11-12 degrees.
In Lviv on Saturday it is still quite cold: +1…+5, drizzling. On Sunday, April 18, it will warm up to +11 during the day, dense cloudiness will give way to variable, the sun will peek out, and no precipitation is expected that day. But from Monday the rains will return, although the daytime temperature will not drop below +12.
In the east of Ukraine, on the weekend and at the beginning of the week, variable cloudiness is expected: at night up to +7, during the day up to +16. Rains are forecast for April 17-18 in the Kharkiv region. From Tuesday, April 20, precipitation will spread to the entire eastern region.
In the northern and central regions, on the weekend it will be mostly cloudy with clearings, with rain in places, which will linger into the next week. Air temperature: at night +5…+8, during the day +12…15.
In Kyiv on the weekend, up to +13 is expected during the day, cloudy with clearings. On Saturday rain is possible, on Sunday there will be no precipitation, and from April 19 rains will go for the whole week. In the morning of April 17-19, the temperature will be up to +8…+9, but due to high humidity it will feel like +5…+6. The water in the Dnipro has warmed up to +8.
